ERGONOMICS AND THE HUMAN BEING

With the Polster Box you can produce your own packing pads directly at the packing station, without the use of expensive machines or aids. This small and handy paper box fits perfectly on any packing table – or simply underneath it. Set up the box, pull the paper out of the middle of the roll through the side opening and tear off by hand.

The ProtectAir air cushion chains are used to fill individually created cavities in packaging units or to protect goods directly against blunt impacts. Consequently, the valuable packaged goods can neither slip nor be damaged during transport. The freight-intensive padding material no longer has to be transported many kilometres to the place of use, but can be produced there directly according to requirements, with the help of the ProtectAir air cushion system.

The ProtectAir Paper air bubble films consist of one layer made of recycled paper as well as a laminated organic sealing layer. This wafer-thin sealing layer is made of a starch-based biofilm is produced, which is both compostable, and is also biodegradable. These two layers are joined by natural glue.

Our new organic air cushion films offer a sustainable solution, because they allow 100% biodegradable packaging materials to be produced and packaged in shipping packages. What’s more, the biofilm is a sustainable packaging material that is produced from renewable raw materials. Potato starch and corn starch form a strong duo for the environment. The film can be easily composted in the organic container and thus disposed of without leaving any residue.

ProtectAir ClimaFilm
The ProtectAir ClimaFilm bubble film is a highly developed, climate-neutral special film, which consists of more than 50 % recycled material. These films are designed so that they can be processed with the ProtectAir Plus and ProtectAir Premium air cushion systems. The air cushions are long-lasting, mechanically resilient and environmentally friendly as they are 100 % recyclable.
The antistatic material used is free of lead, cadmium, diaryl and ultramarine pigments, as well as halogen and amine and complies with the EU regulation 10/2011 for plastics in contact with food.
