Why ZeroTape also pays off in terms of price.

ZeroTape System

WHY IS ZEROTAPE® MORE EXPENSIVE THAN NORMAL ADHESIVE TAPE?

One roll of ZeroTape® costs significantly more than a roll of conventional adhesive tape. Why is that?

The higher roll price is simply due to the fact that a roll of ZeroTape® holds a full 150 meters of tape as opposed to the usual 50 to 66 meters per roll. To create a comparative value, you should therefore comparethe price per meter and not the roll price. To do this, divide the price per roll by the number of meters on the roll (€ per roll ÷ meters per roll = € per meter).

The larger the amount of a material, the smaller the price per unit. Prices in the packaging sector are also based on this principle. So if you compare two rolls of adhesive tape of the same quality, where one roll is 66 meters and the other is 150 meters, you will find that the price per meter for the 150 m roll is often cheaper than for a 66 m roll of adhesive tape.

IS ZEROTAPE® A HIGH-QUALITY OR A CHEAP ADHESIVE TAPE SYSTEM?

With the patented ZeroTape® system, only high-quality packaging tapes with our own special adhesives are produced. The hand dispensers are made of sturdy plastic and are equipped with many innovative features. The tape dispenser is ergonomic, durable and also features a light wipe. In short, an unbeatable system in terms of quality.

As already indicated, the price advantage is due to the above-average roll length. This is because the more than doubled roll length of 150 meters also means that fewer roll cores are used and the production machines can produce longer at a stretch.

Costs related to space requirements and storage can also be saved, as the outer roll size of ZeroTape® rolls does not differ from that of conventional 66-meter rolls, but they nevertheless have a significantly longer length. The additional length is due to the significantly smaller roll cores. Consequently, the unused hollow space inside the roll is much larger on the 66-meter rolls. All of these factors ultimately affect the pricing of ZeroTape® tape.

IS ZEROTAPE® MORE EXPENSIVE THAN NORMAL ADHESIVE TAPE?

No, it isn't. The prices of ZeroTape® are perfectly in line with the market standard and only appear more expensive if you only consider the price per roll. Often the price per meter is even lower than what you currently pay - and you get an ergonomic, qualitative and efficient system!

CONCLUSION: For companies that pack and ship packages on a daily basis, the ZeroTape® packing tape system is definitely worthwhile. Besides the advantages like ergonomic working, faster & easier taping and the sustainable roll cores, ZeroTape is also mostly cheaper when you look at the price per meter. Many think at first glance "the tape is expensive", but here rather the opposite is the case. This gives ZeroTape a price advantage in the packaging process for companies and their users.
