Certification and testing of loading units, stretch films and packing tapes.

Rely on our expertise in the testing and certification of loading units

Our dedicated team consists of experienced packaging optimizers, technicians and load securing specialists.

We rely on state-of-the-art testing procedures to ensure that your load units meet the high requirements and are packed safely. Among other things, we perform the following tests for you:

  • Containment force test with test device in kg
  • Tilt test according to EN 12195-1
  • Dynamic testing according to EUMOS 40509 in the Mobile Test Center.

Testing and certification

At least since the enactment of EU Directive 2014/47 ("Directive of Road Worthiness") in 2018, the testing and certification of loading units has increasingly come into focus.

We help companies to pack their load units in such a way that they are secured in the best possible way in the event of an accident. On request, we can certify your load units in accordance with EUMOS 40509 by a certified expert for load unit securing. Depending on the area, we use our mobile test centerour ultra-modern Packaging Innovation Center with Motion Bank or our packaging tape laboratory.

On request, we can certify your load units in accordance with EUMOS 40509

Why certify according to EUMOS 40509?

The European standard EUMOS 40509 defines the maximum deformations a load unit may exhibit during transportation in order to be considered sufficiently safe for transportation. The focus here is on the behavior of the pallet during full braking, as this is where the greatest g-forces act on the load unit. With the help of our mobile test center, we can precisely simulate the g-forces stipulated in the EUMOS standard and thus determine the transport safety of your load units directly on site. Thanks to the fast and uncomplicated testing, several tests can be carried out in one day so that any necessary optimization steps can be verified immediately.

The certification is accompanied and carried out by an independent expert for load unit securing so that all requirements are met and the EUMOS certificate can be issued. Anyone who verifiably ships EUMOS-compliant pallets fulfills the greatest possible duty of care and can make a data-based statement on load unit securing.
